As mentioned in my previous post, we have confirmed our gown for ROM.. But.... I thought it thru the weekends and find tt the gown is not as fantastic as my ideal gown..

Hence, we proceeded down to BLUEBAY Singapore to take a look at their available gowns..

I've found 2!

Will be going over to another fitting on Thursday!

Realli happy and thankful to BLUEBAY for the effort and help they contributed for my sourcing of my IDEAL gown.. Not all bridal shop can do that..

What norm bridal shop will say is " aiyah..very nice already.. you realli wear le very nice.."

Make up is one of the most important factor in preparation of a nice and memorable ROM.. However, my soon-to-be-ex bridal shop spoil it! After thousands of time i called up to confirm on MUA, after thousandas of time to arrange for a viewing of their portfolio, after i research on her real life make up on some ppl from forum...

I DONT LIKE the MUA assigned!'

Called soon-to-be-ex bridal shop again to check if there is a chance to change the MUA.. Answer is NO..no one available on such a hot date le.. **ANGRY** initially i already told the SA it's a hot date.. I need to arrange for gown fitting and make up trial if possible asap.. She left the priority for AD ppl.. What the....

Now we have to cancel the make up portion from the package.. n they onli ddt $100 from the package. what is $100?? does they mean the AD make up artist assigned to me only cost $100?? isnt it a bit tooo CHEAP?

Anyway, We have found our own preferred MUA..FRIENNIE! from PRETTY BOX..

Althu I've not met up with her..but she has lots of good comments and i like her portfolio shown..

Helpers - I'm having my Make up done at 11am on 10.10.10.. so will be ready by ard 1pm.. After which maybe we can go have POPEYE? hahaaa... TBC...

Bridal Pix Editing

We are in our "hopefully" final round of editing..

Left with 3 more pics and we are done to have our layout been arranged..

Final viewing will be on 20th May.

All we can say is the efficient way of working BlueBay Bridal is having. We had our PS in Mid March and by Mid May we have already edited 5 times.

Our Enjoyable and Memorable PS

We are back from our long awaited photoshooting cum pre-wedding holiday at taiwan..

Our 9D8N trip ended very quickly and happily...

The experience is superb.. all thanks to the bridal shop staffs.. All are very good..

Our PS is split into 2 days.. for different routes and for some indoor shooting..of coz.. both days are diff photographers.. Kiwi and Big Bear..What we can say is both are very good and with different photoshooting style..and we love both of them!

Toooppp up another 80 poses on top of the standard 30 poses given in the package..another huge amount spent for our wedding..

Brief write up on our trip tis time round...

Day 1 - 9th March 2010

Started off with a WANG Cafe laksa for Eddie.. He is soo hungry that he cant wait for the meal to be served on plan later on...



As for me... i waited... patiently with the entertainment on plane for the meal to be served...





4 hours flight had gone quickly..with movies/musics/games..

n arrival at Taipei Airport terminal 2!! First time arrival there and was kind of blurrrr.. waited patiently for the BlueBay Mr Lin to pick us up at airport...

Another 1 hour drive to our Hotel 73 (included in our package of 2 nights stay).. it's near the Blue Bay, C.K.S station, Yong Kang Street!

Luggage placed in room..
Hungry...
Out for DINNERR!!

was too lazy to walk all the way to Yong Kang street.. jus went nearby for "HU Xu Zhang" Ru Lou Fan.. Yummy Yummy...

Day 2 - 10th March 2010

Laze and woke up around 8+ for Hotel 73 breaki try out! it's soo much better than T.S. Hotel.. n the normal routine starts by.. breaki.. hotel room...toilet...shit...den go out... hahaa.. same routine as we always have..

Stepped out of hotel..walk pass C.K.S... the wind blow n arghhhh..suppppppeeerrr cold.. ard 8 Deg tt day.. start to imagine how is it to be like on Day 3 when i have to wear the gowns for PS....







went out to Zhong Xiao FU Xing station..to get 2 bags.. sponsored by my sis!! doogggiie bags wor.. in nice black n red checks.. hehe...n not forgetting Jill Stuart's foundation.. *Yada..** nice nice oh.. hee..din noe that member from HK Jill Stuart does not applies for TW counter.. arghh..

Went back hotel for our appt with Blue bay at 2pm for gown selection.. decided to walk n look for Yong Kang street to try the beef noodle that a lot of ppl are recommending.. walked for ard 45mins!!! before we arrived at the super nice noodle shop..





arrived late at Bluebay bridal shop.. attended by the nice and friendly staff who will give very homely and happy feeling.. n tt's the start of our gown selection.. last for ard 2 hours only.. n followed by selection of Eddie's suit which took ard 1hr 30 mins!! aiyo.. so slow rite.. coz he mtm his ROM and Actual Day suit!!

followed by our most "die die mus eat" food.. KUA BAO!! at Shi Da NM..
did some shopping and ended the day early as tml's the PS day and we have to wake up at ard 6pm get ready, have breaki and arrive at bridal shop by 8am...

Day 3 - 11th March 2010

Our New Onitsuka Shoes + Luggage Bags

We have given out our invites to a few of our close frens who we will be invitign to our rom on 10/10/10..we were very happy to c all the happy faces in receiving and choosing the invites that we have prepared for them..*good**

Currently, We are getting ready for our Taiwan PS.. hehe..

Have bought new luggage bags... and each of us gt 1 pair of gold onitsuka tiger sneakers to go for bridal shoot!!





Am soo o happy but tml is MONDAY...

We had confirmed our JP.. Mr Chia Ti Yu.. He's superb.. Got his reply with all the steps we gootta follow and the script.. hehe.. Happy...

Guess we had all our prep work done.. Now left with the following items:

1) ROM Gown - To go over to Cang Ai to see if any nice one
2) ROM Suit - Depends on the selection of gown..
3) Ring Holder - My birdie cage..
4) Collection of ring - Already available.. pending to try it on and adjust the size and engraving
5) Decide ring bearer and flower girl - erm... guess who will it be??
6) Assign duties for helpers - For CL, Steve, AL...
7) Confirm qty and item for snack counter - Pending discussion
8) Signing Pens - Pending....
9) Signature Book - not done yet!! opps

one advice in choosing BS..always try on their gowns 1st.n c if u suit it..n c the % u r in love with the gowns there..n den decide.. not jus decide on sumting ppl telling u is good.. it varies from ppl to ppl as well as it varies from the ppl who serve u...

in this shop.. we settled our actual day gowns and suit, best man jacket, bridesmaid gowns, dads jackets, make up artist, hand bouquet, car deco..hehee..

so looking forward to our AD but is still long way to go.. haa..almost 2 yrs from now..

Photoshooting

We have confirmed our photoshooting on march next year.. in order to have cooling weather and sakura.. haha.. haf also choosen the routes to go.. all thanz to Eddie.. we extend one more day of phototaking..so there's two days!! hehee..

so.. we will be going for most prob a 8d7n taiwan trip.. hehee..actually not much days for us to shop..coz 1 day gown choosing, 2 days ps, 1 day selection of pics..so we left with a few days onli..hehe..better than nth la hor..

we have also confirmed our photographer and make up artist..

N..we got a list of tings to bring over to Taiwan for the ps..

1) Nubra
2) Lots of Eddie shirts
3) Bling bling pumps and heels
4) Black leather shoes and socks
5) A pair of lens-free specs..
6) A few sets of casual wear with jeans
7) Dieting to resume again on next monday 16 Nov 2009
8) Manicure + Pedicure

Bridal Studio

Our bridal studio..

We have decided to go over to Taiwan for our wedding photoshooting..

a short story behind signing and deciding a package at BLUEBAY
...
One Saturday, we went out shopping and before our movie start.. Went over to look at the albums from bluebay after reading, checking on forums on the better taiwan bs...While we were at the door of the shop, as usual SA will come out and bring you in..

Sat down..
Listen to Package..
Q&A session..
Decided..

We've seen lots of their Yang Ben and we are impressed with the locations of outdoor shoots, gowns, photography skills, props they will provide and the quality of the end product... BB has got lots of gowns to choose from..and not forgetting their SA's attitude.. THUMBS UP.. very friendly and informative chat with them...

However, we had never never expect to sign on the spot..BB also given us quite a fair bit of freebies and better offers...tt made us decided to sign on the spot..And HTB added extra 20 poses to the albums.. hehe.. all coz I LOVE TAKING PHOTOS!!

As for the period we be going over to take the pics would not be soo soon..

Currently researching on the best period of PS in Taiwan.. Before deciding on the period we will be going..

Our Gown selection will be done ont he day we arrive at Taiwan.. Tight schedule hor..Choosing gown, deciding route for PS, Choosing poses to be edited and printed.. all to be done in 3-4 days...

Quite a fair bit of wad my package includes but not too good to post it up here. However, It's a very complete package for ppl planning to go overseas for phototaking..

hhaaa..no pictures to be shown here.. stay tune and wait for my PS ba.. hehe

Welcome to Our World

We have started sourcing, looking around, reading forums, reading wedding magazine to get ready for our preparation for the biggest day of our lives..

We would like to share with you all about wedding preparation and our journey to the start of our new life chapter.

We have been looking around for resale fales.. Kallang/Bukit Merah.. Prices are sky high now.. Every owner expecting at least 30k COV.. We had actually offered a few but all have been rejected due to too low offers at 30K.. they want COV like 50k - 80k.. The biggest headache of moving to the new chapter!

We have decided on our bridal studio just from one visit to the shop..Maybe it's because of the sales person being too well trained..Haha.. trained to make ppl signed and buy more pics...Our bridal studio is from Taiwan.. BLUEBAY!!

We will be taking our Taiwan wedding shoot probably in earli year 2011..Will update more till then...=)

We are also looking around for banquet venue.. Another big headache too...

As for our wedding bands, we had just placed deposit for our LVCPromise..Will be able to get them by this christmas..:>

There are still a lot of stuff not settled.. And we're pretty sure there's more to come as we get closer to our big day.
