realli thankful to ALan and Jessica for the introduction.. althu both introduced 85 flowers to me at different point of time, both gave very good comments..

Our Specially Planned ROM - On 10 Oct 2010

Its a very big day as its the day we are officially Husband and Wife.. This is the day family and friends come together tp give us their sincere blessings.. Alright.. many things are already confirmed. I now have a clearer picture of the event & program..

Location

Since the location chosen is partial indoor and outdoor & overlooking the nice MBS..the interior will be sofas and small coffee table for a relaxing sunday evening to spend with ONLY our most valued family and close frenz..We'd like it to be a small cosy event so that good friends would not be neglected & I can safely say I am sharing my special day with them..**sorry to those we have not included you in our list for ROM due to the space constraint; we will not forget you for our actual day celebration** Therefore, our ROM will be more of a gathering casual style instead of a formal and serious event..

I am very happy with the outdoor solemnisation area which can seat 30 guests with the rest of the guests remained standing.. of coz.. young ppl... please stand up! hehe....there will be an aisle which i want my dad to lead mi in & hand me to Eddie..with a back drop of blue sky and blue water...One of the MUST-HAVE on my wedding is for my Daddy to hand me to Eddie..I have yet to tell my dad abt it..hehe..think he will be happy!!Though it's a little weird but i want it.. *jus like church wedding..**GiggLES**

Theme

We have thought about it. The Theme will be Blue & White with lots of ribbons and lace... Sounds airy and cooling..together with romantic and girlie..we love the natural colour..I've given up on my favourite pink colour theme as most ppl had their wedding in pink themes.. No dress code for guests.. just be in what you are most comfortable in..Perhaps you will get to c the bride crossing her legs on the sofa.. *close frenz should noe wad i meant!!*

Menu

We selected Buffet style. The whole VIP lounge will be close just for us and it will be a very private event.. Eddie loves it to be private instead of a show for everyone.. We opted for Buffet style since ours is a high tea timing.. All guests should be full from lunch and going else where for dinner.. therefore.. it's just be some light snacks..*we've not tried the food.. so wont noe if the food is nice..coz it will be beyond our control.. we have to spend most of our time looking at dress, invites, program..

Wedding Cake & Cupcakes

We are still in the midst of discussion to look at which bakery should we order our wedding cake...We want it to taste good & look good..

Invites

Invites are done!! we are planning to give out our invites early and get confirmation on the no. of guest earli..hehe.. Book our special guests first..incase they got another wedding to attend...

Music & MC

We are stil deciding if we should play some music in the background and if a MC is required..
Perhaps just some instrumental love songs!!

Gown and Suit

We must definitely dressed up for the event.. Best is like Prince and Princess.. haha.. but of course..to make to measure someting that will only be worn once is wasting of money...

We have discussed and almost decided on the design of my gown after viewing bridal magazines.. we are in the midst of getting quotations for mtm dress maker and to ensure that the quality is of good standard...

Additional Touches

On the day itself, Eddie had engaged the best photographer and videographer for me..Though they are expensive.. He still got them for me.. Knowing that i love pictures and video and loves to have nice memories...

1950 photography would be around taking more pictures of the day's mood & moments.. And we may be proceeding to some areas we have special meaning at for some ps..

Eddie's brother will also be around to take some other pictures too..

I am thinking of getting a polarid/canon photo printer.. and get one friend to take pictures of individual guests or couples to fill on the Wedding Scrapbooking which i will prepare for them to leave note or messages the guests leave for us.. I hope all our family members and friends will write in Our Wedding Scrapbooking on the day itself. I knew I don't want a Guest Book, I want to have an Autograph Book - one which guest signed in & also write in.. a note, a sentence, a blessing! I will also make this book as pretty as possible.. All in my hands now..*But thanks to Eddie for all the supplies purchase..*

SO dear FRIENDS, if you are reading this, please think of someting to write for us on that day! it would mean alot to us!

We are happy that our event has so much of DIY - it really adds a personal touch to things & also drawn us closer as we plan & make them together..

Well..quite a few of my ideas had been taken down/withdrawed..coz Dreams will be dreams...in real life, things are usually different & We can only try to make the best out of it..

End of the day, We both belive that ROM is a very important event in our life..and we will make it as beautiful and grand as it can be out of the budget we have, Our wedding can be PERFECT too... in our eyes! Just have to be clever about it & not spend on unneccessary things! We are sure we can.

What to prepare for my photoshooting??

I’m left with less than 2 mths and off we go for our long awaited PS..I’m currently trying to lose weight.. to look better… but somehow…it’s quite hard w a ATB and my SIS asking me to join them for breakfast/lunch/dinner.. how to achieve nice slim figure for my ps

A lot of brides gg for facials, etc,etc for the ps.. do I nid to go for one as well?

Things to bring for Taiwan trip:
1. Nu Bra – to buy from tw during my feb trip..not forgetting to get for Joan too!!
2. Shirts for ATB – almost there.. left with orange colour de
3. Wedding shoes – I’ve got 2 pairs.. but nid to get some cheap shoes in red/silver colour
4. Plan Taiwan itinerary – almost there.. hotel h=confirmed on extension..except blue bay side
5. Slim down – in progress..but nt to worry.. there’s always photoshop
6. Keep face in good condition – to go for facial?
7. Manicure + Pedicure – erm.. where to do?
8. Buy ampoule?
9. Waxing? – is it required?

Seems like lots of stuff not decided and not done yet!! WAKE UP!!

We had confirmed our JP.. Mr Chia Ti Yu.. He's superb.. Got his reply with all the steps we gootta follow and the script.. hehe.. Happy...

Guess we had all our prep work done.. Now left with the following items:

1) ROM Gown - To go over to Cang Ai to see if any nice one
2) ROM Suit - Depends on the selection of gown..
3) Ring Holder - My birdie cage..
4) Collection of ring - Already available.. pending to try it on and adjust the size and engraving
5) Decide ring bearer and flower girl - erm... guess who will it be??
6) Assign duties for helpers - For CL, Steve, AL...
7) Confirm qty and item for snack counter - Pending discussion
8) Signing Pens - Pending....
9) Signature Book - not done yet!! opps

Saturday will be our 2nd month celebration!! hhehe..
Sunday be going for STOMP.. all thanks to Luke..for purchasing the STOMP tickets from us although we dont noe u.. But you are a nice person.. hehee

Since we get started on preparation for our Wedding, I've been having headaches on every tiny weeny details.. there are so many tings to look into.. Althu our wedding date is still far.. but it's always better to plan earlier than have not enuf time to plan in the end....

Both of us are each looking after a few items to lessen each other burdens.. hehe.. Tired.. but the fun in preparation of wedding is fun.. from having an empty wedding folder to a folder full of research, budgetting, receipts, invoices...

ITS FUN!!

I'm loving it..

Nowadays when we go out, we do not specifically go out shopping or instead we went venue hunting, sitting down and discuss abt wedding, house viewing...I'm happy doing all these researching and confirming of items together with him.. Althu we may haf disagreement everytime on details.. but will always be able to work it out to mutual agreement...

Currently, there's an ongoing balloting jus released and close on 14th oct.. We will be trying our virgin luck at that balloting..Although till now it had already been 4 times over subscribed, but we will TRY...
We will update when the results are out in Nov...

Welcome to Our World

We have started sourcing, looking around, reading forums, reading wedding magazine to get ready for our preparation for the biggest day of our lives..

We would like to share with you all about wedding preparation and our journey to the start of our new life chapter.

We have been looking around for resale fales.. Kallang/Bukit Merah.. Prices are sky high now.. Every owner expecting at least 30k COV.. We had actually offered a few but all have been rejected due to too low offers at 30K.. they want COV like 50k - 80k.. The biggest headache of moving to the new chapter!

We have decided on our bridal studio just from one visit to the shop..Maybe it's because of the sales person being too well trained..Haha.. trained to make ppl signed and buy more pics...Our bridal studio is from Taiwan.. BLUEBAY!!

We will be taking our Taiwan wedding shoot probably in earli year 2011..Will update more till then...=)

We are also looking around for banquet venue.. Another big headache too...

As for our wedding bands, we had just placed deposit for our LVCPromise..Will be able to get them by this christmas..:>

There are still a lot of stuff not settled.. And we're pretty sure there's more to come as we get closer to our big day.
